Hi, my name is Betty Giles and I have been teaching for 20 years. I have been married to Don for 45 years. We have 2 children, 4 grandchildren and another on the way. Our children are Michael and Rosanna Giles, Andrew and Jacob: and David and Donna Hammonds, Katie and Mattie. I like spending time with my family, doing crossword puzzles in my spare time, and staying at the Dayton House in Myrtle Beach with my husband. I enjoy teaching third grade, and I especially love working at Lanier, which, in my opinion, is the best school in Blount County, with the best principal, staff, community, parents and children. I am so glad to be a part of it.
