Hi, my name is Tammy Potenza and I teach 2nd grade. I have been teaching for 15 years. I have taught kindergarten, fourth grade and now second grade. This is my first year at Lanier and my second year teaching in the county. I attended Illinois State University where I obtained my bachelors in education. I am happily married and have four children. Three of my four children attend Lanier Elementary. I have enjoyed my experiences so far at Lanier because of the student population that we have. I enjoy teaching and seeing them learn many concepts every day. My hobbies include spending time with my family, camping and traveling.
