Hi, my name is Rebecca Waters.  I have lived in Blount County all of my life, and am a product of the Blount County school system.  I attended Binfield and Fairview Elementary schools and William Blount High School.  I went to college at the University of Tennessee, where I received a BA in English Literature and a MS in Elementary Education.  Throughout college I worked here at Lanier in the Friends program.  I quickly came to love the warm atmosphere, and the friendly people.  I knew right away I wanted to teach at Lanier, and was excited to be hired here as a Kindergarten teacher in 2003.  I spent three years teaching Kindergarten before moving to first grade last year.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, scrapbooking, shopping, and decorating my house.
